If you feel that God is leading you to consider missionary service with us, we encourage you to take the first step now.
1. Getting acquainted
Write us a letter telling us of your interest in exploring the opportunity of missionary service. Telling us what education and training you have had and something about your Christian experience. Let us know if you have a certain country or ministry in mind. Include the usual basics, date of birth, marital status, address, email address and phone number. We will answer your questions and send information that will help you answer the questions you may have about JML Mission work.
2. Facts finding exercise

We will correspond (and visit if possible) until we have had a good understanding of each other and make sure you know about the mission work JML is involved with. What we believe, where we work, how we are financed, what our goals are and so on. Through a preliminary questionnaire you share with us your personal testimony and your views of basic Christian doctrine, and provide us with names of people who can help us appraise your stability for service and references.
3. Assessing what you have to offer

The next step is taken by the JML recruitment term, once we have enough information on our candidate(s) we will make recommendations about the next step you should take. We may invite you to make a formal candidate application or we may recommend that you take further training or gain more experience before coming on the Mission field.
4. Making a formal application

If you accept the invitation to apply as a candidate you will be asked to complete four requirements. Have a thorough physical examination, complete the application for membership papers and study the JML information pack, write a doctrinal assessment paper. This is not an examination. It is a declaration of your Christian beliefs (an open Bible assessment) which you write at home.
5. Attending Candidate Orientation Course

When you have completed step four, the JML recruitment term will evaluate your qualifications and, if satisfied, invite you to attend the candidate Orientation Course.
This is a time of in-depth evaluation of your readiness of missionary service. It involves a great deal of learning interviews and great times of fellowship and other candidates. The curriculum subjects will include topics such as; personal walk with God, cross-cultural communication, adaptation to a foreign environment and church building.
At the end of the orientation, candidates will meet some members of the JML recruitment term, who will make the final decision.
How to become a Missionary with J.M.L Ministries

We are constantly in prayer, for the Lord of the harvest to send true labourers who are meek and led by the Holy Spirit, into the harvest field, as our Jesus Christ did during his earthly Ministry.
Luke 10: 2. Therefore said he unto them, the harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest. See Matthew 9: 37-38.
Matthew 28:18-20. 18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, all power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Mark 16:15-18. 15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

JML Ministries is a Ministry which seeks to carry our the great commission which the Lord Jesus Christ commissioned to His disciples, as in Matthew 28: 18-20, Mark 16: 15 -18. Therefore, joining the team means, carrying out what Jesus commanded us to do.

John 16:13, "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come."
If you are sincerely seeking God’s guidance rest assured that He will lead you. If you would like us to join in praying with you for direction whether or not to get involved, we invite you to write to us. We will be glad to counsel you or provide you with information and pray with you as you look to the Lord God to show you what to do.
