London project: Feeding the homeless

For over twenty years JML Ministries have been involved in ministering to the poor and feeding the homeless. We preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and pray with them. We offer them Bibles, food, clothes and blankets. We give out information about hostels accommodation, where they can get help and come off the streets and start rebuilding their lives. We give out the information on programmes and locations where those with drugs and alcohol dependence can get the help they need. Here are some pictures taken on some of the out reaches and the feeding of the homeless which takes place in the city of London.

Matthew 25: 37- 46

37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? 38When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? 39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? 40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: 43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. 44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? 45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. 46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

I Care Project

The I Care project is a project caring for neglected Orphans and young people in Africa.
Please help to put a smile on the children faces, by sponsoring a child, so they are able to attend a school and be educated. Sponsoring an Orphans means we are able to look after the Orphans in our care, by meeting their spiritual, material needs, providing food, shelter and clothing, physical needs, the health and well-being of the child, Emotional, Intellectual, Social needs.

James 1:27
Pure religion and undefiled before God and the father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
Who are we?
JML International is a registered Charity giving practical support and encouragement to the poor and needy around the world, whose lives are blighted by war, poverty and illness with little hope of improvement. Our main focus at present is to provide training, leading to employment and Education for School age children.
The ‘I Care’ project is run by JML Ministries which is a Christian Missionary organisation based in the UK and Africa. For more details about other work that is done under the JML Ministries banner please contact us on the addresses below.
The ‘I Care’ project is a project is part of our international programme to help the poor and destitute in Africa and other parts of the world. However, unlike most secular aid agencies, we consider it of utmost importance to develop the spiritual wellbeing of those we serve. This approach forms part of our practical aid programme.

This programme has many facets which are outlined below.
. Malnutrition
. Educating people about good farming technics, so they acquire the skills required to get themselves out of poverty
. HIV/ Aids awareness
. Providing clean water and sanitation in the most deprived areas

You may have seen, heard or read about the effects of HIV /Aids on the communities in Africa – where these diseases have struck most violently. The result is often the death of parents before that of the children, leaving many children and teenagers as orphans. In fact many African families face many struggles which need to be tackled at different levels:

1. Educating those at risk from within their communities how to prevent contracting the above HIV/Aids. Informing those affected by HIV/Aids on treatment avaliable.
2. Caring for the victims and teaching others to do so, often against locally held prejudices.
3. Improving the quality of life and life chances of those most at risk.
4. Addressing the spiritual causes through prayer and action in encouraging holy living.
In all these methods above we hope to manifest the love of Jesus Christ through our ministry.

Our Aims:
To provide practical help to the orphans
To help them in their daily lives
To communicate and listen to their needs
To demonstatethe love of Jesus Christ them by giving support
To prevent the increase in the spread of AIDS among the young people in the areas where we are working
We already have partners who are working to improve the situation in West Africa and who are desperate for the smallest kind of help.
The Plateau Project

Health Care in the Community
This project will begin with a short term mobile clinics which will be used to visit the different villages and help the locals with primary medical and health care and through the dissemination of basic education on how prevent diseases and illnesses through key figures in the communities.
The second stage is to build a long term Health Centre where a family can receive support as required. We will provide a loving home when life gets tough and will be able to assist medically and spiritually with trained staff.
We need to raise funds to purchase a site for this purpose.

The Ghana Project
Christian evangelism
Youth and Children ministries; putting orphan children through Primary and Secondary Education
A second part of the long-term project is to help improve the diet, hygiene, sanitation and clean water supply in consultation and negotiation with the communities, thus improving their basic quality of life and long term health.
Education and Spiritual Development
The third stage is to establish a school and discipleship training centre for the local area to help improve basic literacy, numeracy and other basic skill requirements.
For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat,
I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink. I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothe and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me’... ‘I tell you the truth whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine; you did for me [Matthew. 25: 35, 36, 40].

This challenge has come to us through the work of our partners in areas where many children have been made orphans, due to parents dying of AIDS. Only by your support can this work be fulfilled. If you are concerned for the physical and spiritual health of these people in these parts of Africa you can be a partner. Any donation to JML Christian Ministries Trust will be most helpful. Or if you are interested in volunteering your services you can also contact us at the same address.
